The fourth season of the fantasy epic “Game of Thrones” was launched based on the books of George R. R. Martin - about the world where there are dragons, white walkers, lyuvovolki, brave dwarfs and sexy virgins. In addition to all this, the series fell in love with our parade of strong heroines - women of unique beauty, self-esteem and willpower. Kevin Alexander, the chief stylist for the hair on the court, managed not to come into conflict with the appearance of the characters described in the books and came up with dozens of hairstyles with braids, plaits and strange rollers on the crown. We selected seven heroines — from Daenerys to Cersei — and explained how to repeat some of their hairstyles. Immediately we warn you: we didn’t touch the famous wedding pretzel of Sansa Stark and we can’t imagine who would dare and under what circumstances of our reality.

Margheri tyrell

The future wife of the juvenile little bastard Joffrey, Margeri Tyrell, was walking in the flowering royal garden with such a hairstyle, and it is quite simple to repeat it. Divide the hair into a straight parting, highlighting the two sections on the sides of the head. On the back of your head you need to twist the usual bunch From each side, starting from the temporal zone, twist three not strung bundles, pin them to the bundle, and fix them with lacquer generously.

Daenerys Targaryen

Daenerys, also known as Khaleesi, is not only the mother of dragons, but also, definitely, the queen of the tightly bound braids. For the fourth season, she spends all her time on the road, conquering new cities and managing the army — there is no place for elegant curls. To repeat her hairstyle, start small: make a horizontal parting at eyebrow level. The upper part of the hair should be divided into two halves, from both to weave along the braid, join them into one and fasten with an elastic band. The lower braids will stray along the boundaries of hair growth. On the one side of the head, braid the lower braid, then on the other, each one should be fixed with varnish. All braids need to be braided into one big one and a little to foul it — after all, you are a warrior, not a court lady.

Catelyn Stark

The heroic mother of the doomed house Starkov is the most mature beauty of the series. Her hairstyle to match her position: restrained, but spectacular. They did not get used to the luxuries in Winterfell, so simple tricks are in use here. It is necessary to divide the hair into a straight parting. From the temporal zone to start making a tourniquet, picking up strands into it as it is twisted to increase the volume. Fasten, leave, on the other side of the head twist the same. Continuing the harnesses to connect and braid in a normal, not scythe braid.

Even though Ygritt is a savage, she looks luxurious - which helped her enrage one of the most promising men in the series, bastard John Snow. Even if you, like Igritt, spend half your life on the road and in battle, you always have enough strength for her hair. In order to repeat it, it is necessary to braid two inverted braids in the central part (unlike ordinary ones, when weaving these movements, all movements are outward, not inward) approximately to the middle of the head. At the temporal zone to allocate the strand, twist it into a tight harness, fix with varnish and let it soak. Pinch movements slightly rattle harness, fix it invisible. On the other side of the head, make the same harness. Spit the braids between each other and secure with studs in the area of the fixed harnesses.

Roslyn Frey

At the end of the third season, all the fans of the show unanimously wailed after the so-called “Red Wedding”, which left us without a number of important characters (from this list too). True, few people remember that Roslin Frey was in the middle of the action - a young girl who was married out of wages for the sake of a military alliance of the Freew and Tully houses. It was at her marriage that everything happened, and her hairstyle was the only thing that we would recommend to repeat from this series. On the back of your head, you need to weave a weak “spikelet” in three or four weaving (at the same time freeing two thin strands from the “spikelet” on one side, make a double twisted harness from each), and fix it with an elastic band. The tail is divided into two parts, weave two braids of the same length. Lay out both spit "eight" and carefully fasten with pins. Remaining free harnesses fasten on the "eight".

Talisa Stark

Talisa Maygir, whom the granddaughter Charlie Chaplin played in the series (sorry, spoiler), is one of those characters who were taken away from us prematurely. Loved by all, and especially Robb Stark, Talisa looked great to the end. It was her front death hairstyle that we chose. First you need to divide the mass of hair into the upper, central and lower, at the top to make a straight parting. Tie the tail on the back of your head, make a double bundle and twist it into a bun. Near the face, select two strands, leave them free, and fix the remaining hair of the upper zone under a bunch of elastic. The remaining hair of the face twist into bundles: each strand is divided into two smaller ones, each twisted into a bundle, and then twisted between each other and secure with an elastic band. Important: strands need to be twisted in one direction, and a double bundle of them - in another. Cross the two bundles directly above the bundle and secure with studs under it. Tail under the beam to make more free, twist it, divided into two strands. Twist each strand again and pass through its own loop - tie a knot. Do the same with the second, fasten both with a rubber band. Bottom tail just dissolve and comb.

Cersei Lannister

A model of royal elegance, and at the same time deceit and cruelty, Cersei, as the story progresses, moves from a love of alcoholism and, accordingly, from pretzel to simply loose hair. We chose the most neutral option with which it is convenient and not so boring to go, for example, to work. On each side you need to twist two strands: the upper one is normal, two strands are twisted between each other, when the lower twist is folded into the main twisted strand, free strands are selected. All four harness need to connect in one tail and braid braid out of it.

Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner)

Sansa Stark alternates simple styling with complex ones. But most of all we remember the complicated hairstyle imitating the crown. Do you want to repeat? Then be patient!

  • Highlight hair from the frontal zone, slightly capturing it from the temporal zone. Leave the hair on the temples (about 2 cm),
  • collect hair in the ponytail,
  • Take the tail and draw it to your face. Attach a special hair roller to the tips and secure the tail end on the roller with invisible hair. Then roll the roller on the inside. Fix the middle of the roller with pins to the base so that the form does not fall apart. Important: the hair must be well combed to gently and evenly wrap on the roller,
  • fix the roller with the pins on the top of the head, giving a uniform arcuate shape in advance.

So, the hardest thing behind! It remains to "hide" the parting and the base of our tail (roller) on the back of the head. Make weaving for design:

  • braid the hair from the temples (two on each side),
  • take one harness from each temple and hide behind them the base of the cushion and parting on the upper occipital zone,
  • Now take care of the details! Fix all the harnesses with small studs so that they are not visible,
  • secure the remaining 2 strands from the temples on the frontal area in front of the roller,
  • You can fix your hair with lacquer, decorate with ribbons or other accessories,
  • Finally, take the remaining hair in the lower occipital zone, divide it into two parts, and twist the hair into forceps to get playful waves. Then twist the 2 harness.

Daenerys Targaryen: Complicated Weaving

Actress Emilia Clark, who played Daenerys, wears a long platinum blond wig shade on the set. But do not worry: to create an image of this heroine fit and medium-length hair. To create a hairstyle, we begin by separating one strand on the top of the head and two on the sides from the right and left temples. The upper part is divided into two strands and from each weave braids (according to the technique they resemble a French cone, only the strand is divided into three parts and we set the side parts under the central part from the bottom, not from the top). We collect braids in a tail on a nape. From the side strands we braid one simple spikelet, connecting them at the back of the head with the tail from the upper braids. The remaining hair loose curls into large curls with curling. A pair of loose locks at the temples will make the image more romantic.

Sansa Stark: Mohawk of two spikelets

The role of Sansa Stark became the debut for actress Sophie Turner. Especially for the "Game of Thrones" blonde Sophie had to temporarily change her hair color to fiery red with the help of tinted shampoos. The scheme of creating her famous hairstyle is this: first you need to give your hair a light wave and divide your hair into a straight parting. Then on the parietal part of the head, on two sides, we braid two taut spikelets (a technique of the French braid), connect them at the back of the head and weave them. Leave the loose strands loose.

Melisander: Spit on a straight parting

Hair fatal beauty Melisandra looks very impressive, especially with bright hair color. Divide the pre-curled wavy hair into a parted part, pull strands from the temporal area to the back of the head. Tie up your hair or make a regular pigtail on one side. The third option is to braid spikelets on both sides and connect them on the back of the head with a beautiful hairpin.
